On March 31, 2016, the inter-departmental scientific conference “Import Substitution Issues in Customs Agencies and New Developments in IT and Communications” was held by the Federal Customs Service at the Russian Customs Academy.
The conference focused on import substitution in the area of system software. According to Dmitry Danilin, Head of the Chief Directorate of the Russian Federal Customs Service, the transition to Russian solutions required by law needs serious consideration, and the customs service is already taking appropriate measures.
RELEX was presented by Development Manager Roman Barkalov who made a report on DBMS Linter, pointing out the unique features of this software product fully developed in Russia.
